We allow VW style/size campervans, but no caravans or motorhomes. We do not have electrical hook-ups or chemical waste disposal.
Due to the ample size of our pitches, we allow parking next to your pitch for your convenience. Please be very careful driving around the site and do not exceed the 10mph speed limit at any time.
We are dog friendly, but please keep your dog on a lead whilst on site - we have nearby lakes with geese & ducks, as well as fields of Alpaca that we need to keep safe. Please let us know when booking if you intend to bring your four legged friend.
Yes! Every pitch has its own fire pit, and the Campsite Manager will visit every pitch each evening around 5/6pm to sell local firewood and kindling, kiln dried to the latest strict Government moisture levels. If you need wood out of hours then please contact the Campsite Manager directly by phone (07801109243) and hopefully we can arrange a wood drop off for you. Please only use the firepits provided and do not bring your own firewood as 1. We can not be certain that the wood complies to UK moisture laws, 2. Wood often contains screws and nails that are left in the fire and can cause harm to wildlife and campers alike, and 3. We need to protect the surrounding woodland from diseases such as Ash Die Back, Dutch Elm disease, and cannot risk burning diseased wood whose spores will infect surrounding tress when burnt.
Off ground BBQ's are welcomed, but please avoid using disposable bbq's as they burn the grass, as well as being bad for the environment.
We have a toilet block, multiple washing up basins & hot showers at the top of the camping fields, with all facilities cleaned to a high standard regularly.
Please do not attempt to feed, chase herd or ride the alpaca, the camels, or any other animals on the farm. You are guests on their farm so please respect them. You are welcome to walk amongst the alpacas and llamas but leave your dogs on your pitch. Under no circumstances should you enter the Camels field.
Yes! There are rope swings in the adjoining woods for kids to enjoy. The large Pine forest to the south of us is private and not open to the public.
Access to the woods is solely at parents/guardians discretion. Parents/guardians need to assess risk and take full responsibility for their children safety.
No. Our planning permission requires that campers are not allowed to play amplified music at any time, unless on headphones or similar. Non-amplified music must in no way cause nuisance to your fellow campers.
All children need to be back on their pitches by 9pm and need to under close control of parents so as to minimise causing problems with your fellow campers.
From 10pm all campers must be as quiet as possible (no singing, shouting, running about etc) and respectful to others who may be trying to sleep.
Please contact us to discuss larger bookings or whole field hire.
No, sorry. We can do same-day bookings as long as you ring or email first, or book automatically via our booking system (which shows our live availability).
